Hi, I'm Jordy, an Art Director with a background in graphic design, based in Antwerp. I've been drawing since I was a kid, and design is basically where that ended up. I focus on creating concepts driven by mood and atmosphere, beyond just layouts wrapped around a message.
That instinct comes from a couple of things outside of work. Cars and Japanese culture have been fascinations of mine for years, which is basically where Oosterweel Runners came from. Invisible Narratives, one of my personal projects, is about the same idea: explore how far a specific mood or story can carry an image before it requires an explanation.
Before going independent, I spent 6+ years designing inside corporate automotive teams. Today I leverage that experience as a freelance Art Director, building concepts and visual worlds that actually hold together.
